Free Besieged

2006

Free Besieged is a performance about freedom that swings between the time of the Greek Revolution and the revolutions of our days. The siege of Mesologgi in the production is once again, as in Solomos, a metaphor about freedom. Mesologgi is the enclosed space of freedom -individual, collective, global- a space that is becoming increasingly utopian. And from which the Exodus is unavoidable.
